چکیده

Two species, namely Russula adwanitekae A.Ghosh, K.Das & Buyck sp. nov. and purpureozonata K.Das, A.Ghosh are proposed herein as new mushroom taxa from the Indian Himalaya based on their morphological features ITS-based phylogenetic inferences. Both species belong to crown clade of subgenus but with affinities different subsections, viz. subsect. Laricinae Romagn. Decolorantes Maire, respectively. was collected in mixed temperate forests where it is most likely associated conifers. It distinct several similarly looking, small, mild dark spore print reddish lilac, orchid purple or greyish deep magenta colored pileus by its sequence data (nrITS) geographic distribution. associates Abies densa Griff., possesses all typical Decolorantes, amyloid suprahilar spot spores, presence pileogloeocystidia, reddening then blackening context, equal lamellae print. reminds North American R. californiensis Burl. magna Beardslee under microscope has distinctly smaller spores differs further unique coloration concentrically zonated margin. Macro- micromorphological illustrated for both species. Their habitats, distributions relationships allied discussed.
